Adult Confirmation
This program is for practicing adult Catholics (over age 18 and
out of high school) who have already received the sacraments of
Reconciliation and Eucharist, and who now wish to receive the sacrament
of Confirmation. St. Rose and St. Ambrose parishes work together
to offer this six-week series each year after Easter. Upon completion
of the course, adults are confirmed by a Bishop on Pentecost at
an Archdiocesan celebration.
Marriage Preparation Series
This six-week preparatory program for engaged couples is offered
at St. Rose each fall and spring. It is designed to give engaged
couples the opportunity to review their own plan for living the
sacramental life of matrimony.

Missions
A parish mission is a special series of spiritual exercises, with
emphasis on the preached word, conducted to bring about fundamental
conversion and renewal of faith among those who attend.
Natural Family Planning
God has blessed men and women with the wonderful gift of procreation and the ability to understand their natural signs of fertility. Natural Family Planning (NFP) is a method that teaches a couple to recognize and record these signs so that they can identify the days when conception can occur. Married couples can then plan the timing of their marital relations to avoid or achieve pregnancy with a high degree of effectiveness.
NFP is endorsed by the Catholic Church as a reliable method which honors the dignity of marriage and the beauty of human fertility. The series consists of three monthly meetings. Contact: Joe & Cinda

Rite of Christian Initiation of
Adults (RCIA)
RCIA is the process by which we bring adults into the Catholic faith,
and through which they are prepared to receive the sacraments of
Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist. The RCIA journey provides a
living experience of the Church, not just knowledge about the Church.
In the RCIA, we come together to form community, to pray and to
learn.
Unbaptized adults come into the faith through the sacrament of Baptism.
They will be Confirmed and receive first Eucharist at the same time
as their Baptism. Adults who have received valid baptism in other
faiths, come into the Church by making a Profession of Faith and
completing the Sacraments of Initiation Confirmation and
Eucharist. This preparation is a one to two year process. Most gatherings
are held on Sunday mornings. Contact the parish office to register.
