Vocations Committee

Contact: Jim Kelly, 713-681-6360

In concert with the Arch-Diocesan Vocation Office and our pastor, this committee calls us to remember our vocation as members of the Body of Christ and encourages all Catholics to pray for the gift of vocations to the priesthood and religious life. The committee’s goal is to affirm and foster vocations to the priesthood, sisterhood, permanent diaconate, brotherhood and lay ministries.

We believe the Spirit is calling forth men and women from our faith community to these roles of service. May our prayers help inspire young people to be attentive to the movement of the Spirit within them and to step forward in faith and with generous hearts to wherever the Spirit leads them. We also pray for our own love of God and Church by attending benediction every Thursday after adoration at 6:45 p.m.
