Rite
of Christian Initiation of Adults (R.C.I.A.)
RCIA
is the process by which we bring adults into the Catholic faith, and
through which they are prepared to receive the sacraments of
Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist. The RCIA journey provides a
living experience of the Church, in addition to knowledge about the
Church. In the RCIA, we come together to form community, to pray and
to learn.
Unbaptized
adults come into the faith through the sacrament of Baptism. They
will be Confirmed and receive first Eucharist at the same time as
their Baptism. Adults, who have received valid baptism in other
faiths, come into the Church by making a Profession of Faith and
completing the Sacraments of Initiation – Confirmation and
Eucharist. This preparation is a one to two year process. Most
gatherings are held on Sunday mornings. Contact:
