ST. ROSE OF LIMA ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
Testing

Catholic Schools do not take the TAKS (Texas State Tests).  Each Spring, St. Rose of Lima students take a nationally standardized test.  In March, we will take the IOWA Test of Basic Skills.  Each subtest is timed at 30 minutes or less.  Students in Kindergarten – Grade 5 will work on different subtests throughout the week.  Scores are expected back in early May and will be shared with parents.  A meeting will be hosted to help understand the scoring as well as our placement compared to the Catholic Schools in our Archdiocese as a whole.
