Adult Parish Choir
The Adult Parish Choir has been an active participant in the sung liturgical prayer of St. Rose of Lima Parish for many years. In addition to singing for the 10:00 a.m. Sunday Mass, the Choir sings for one Christmas Eve Mass, for Holy Week liturgies and at other liturgies and events as requested. Many of its members also serve as cantors for liturgies at which no choir or other musical ensemble is present. Rehearsals are generally held on Wednesday evenings, September through May.
Hand
The Hand Bell Choir is made up of a group of people who enjoy playing music for the Catholic Mass. Anyone with basic musical knowledge is invited to join. The formation of this choir is contingent upon having enough members.
Cantors
Lead the sung prayer during liturgies without choir or ensemble. By audition only.
Children's Music Ensemble
Sings during the Christmas season. Watch for sign-up information in the bulletin.
Instrumentalists
May play regularly or on an “as needed” basis. By audition only.
5:00 p.m. Sunday Ensemble
Music for the youth-oriented liturgy Sundays at 5:00 p.m. By audition only.
Hispanic Music Ministry
The Hispanic Choir sings for the Spanish Mass at noon on Sundays, as well as for the Spanish Christmas Mass. They rehearse weekly.
