Facilities Usage

Interested in renting space at St. Rose Parish?

The parish facilities are available on a rental basis to current parishioners of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Community so that they may host gatherings important to family life. The West Hall, East Hall, Fellowship Center and Parish Hall may be rented. If you are interested in renting our facilities, please review the information below and then complete the rental request form. A staff member will then contact you to further discuss your needs and our availability.

Hall Rental Policies: 

  • The facilities may be rented for wedding receptions only if the wedding itself is a valid Catholic ceremony.
  • There is no rental fee for 50th wedding anniversary receptions for couples who have been active members of the parish for at least five years. (Fees for hall attendant, cleaning crew and required security still apply in this instance).
  • Community service organizations may, at the discretion of the pastor and after parish needs have been met, use the facilities for the cost of the hall attendance, the cleaning fee and required security.
  • The facilities may not be used for political functions of any kind.
  • All reservations shall be scheduled through the parish office at 713-692-9123 or by email.
  • All parish buildings are non-smoking facilities.
  • All events must conclude by midnight (including cleanup).

If renting both the West Hall and the East Hall for one event, the rental fee is only $1,900.

A security deposit is required and will be refunded one week after the event. Hall monitor and cleaning fees are included in the base cost for all halls. If uniformed security officers are required this will be at an additional cost.  The number of officers, if needed, is based on Archdiocesan requirements and is mandatory when alcohol is served. An additional, non-refundable $25 liability insurance rider is required for all non-parish sponsored events.

Please note: Due to insurance and risk management issues, the parish is not allowed to loan or rent any tables, chairs or audio/visual equipment to anyone.

Access to Blacktop Area Adjacent to Youth Building and Scout Hut:

To ensure the safety of all, the gates separating the Administration Building parking lot from the back of the lot near the Youth Building and Scout Hut may not be opened for drive-through traffic, if there is any function on the parish property involving children or youth. Activities during which gates must remain locked would include, but are not be limited to, school gatherings, religious education classes and parish gatherings in the halls.
