Making room for all at the table of the Lord through loving service
The Food Pantry serves residents in zip codes 77008 and 77018. A group of dedicated volunteers operates our Food Pantry as part of the parish’s St. Vincent de Paul social ministry. Volunteers pick up food from the Houston Food Bank, keep the pantry shelves stocked and work with clients. Others deliver groceries to senior citizens who are unable to come to the pantry.
Donations of non-perishable food and toiletry items can be dropped off at the pantry itself or through the parish office. Monetary support is also much appreciated and can be made through the parish office or you can find purple St. Vincent de Paul envelopes in the church pews and drop your donation in our collection baskets.
Visit the pantry yourself to witness the Lord’s work. The Food Pantry is located directly west of the church on Brinkman Street. Parking is available in front of the Food Pantry or along the side streets.
Hours of Operation

ANNUAL “THANKS” GIVING FOOD COLLECTION
Our parish has its annual “Thanks” Giving Food Collection. The 2016 donation of food weighed out at 3,250 pounds. We are so very grateful for your generosity. After the 5:00 p.m. Mass on Sunday evening ended, those that attended this Mass, carried the many, many bags from the church altar across the street over to the Food Pantry. This was a wonderful sight, and we thank all of you for helping transport the gifts of food.
The following Monday morning the 8th graders from St. Rose of Lima School showed up early at the Food Pantry to help our volunteers. They all worked so hard weighing, separating, sorting and putting the food on the shelves or in overflow boxes for future distribution. It took a couple of hours to finish the job and they did a magnificent job. Thanks so much 8th graders, we very much appreciated your hard work.
