Making room for all at the table of the Lord through loving service

Spirituality Ministries and Service

In addition to organizations and education/formation opportunities, you may be looking for a spirituality ministry or service.

ACTS
An ACTS retreat is a three-day and three-night Catholic lay retreat, presented by fellow parishioners. The retreat begins on Thursday evening and ends the following Sunday at a 10 am Mass celebrated with the parish community. Retreats for men and for women are given separately. Talks and activities focus on Adoration, Community, Theology and Service, from which the ACTS acronym is derived. Holy Scripture and the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church are the guides for the retreats. The goal is to develop a new or deeper relationship with the Lord and fellow retreatants. To learn more about going on an ACTS Retreat, please contact Ann De La Rosa at 832-519-4448.

Registration is now open for the next Men's ACTS retreat, scheduled for October 19-22nd. Those with questions or who are interested can contact the 2017 Men's Retreat Director, Trent Salch

Legion of Mary (Mary Mystical Rose Praesidium) / Legión de Maria
Members focus primarily on the Spiritual Works of Mercy. The organization fosters Catholic ideals and devotions through the movement of the Blessed Virgin Pilgrim statue and enthronement of the Sacred Heart in Catholic homes. They also visit hospitals, nursing homes and shut-ins, welcome new parish members and establish friendly contact with those considering a return to the Church. The group meets every Thursday evening at 7:00 pm in room A of the Administration Building. Contact Rosa Goodman at 713-480-9206 for details .
