Eagle Ceremonies
Earning the rank of Eagle Scout is the highest achievement a Scout can reach in Boy Scouting, and we intend to celebrate it in a meaningful and memorable way. When a Scout earns the rank of Eagle Scout, they plan an Eagle Ceremony to honor their accomplishment and recognize the dedication, hard work, and leadership that went into reaching this milestone.
The Eagle Ceremony is a special event that is usually planned by the Eagle Scout along with their family. It often includes presentations, awards, and reflections on the Scout’s journey, allowing friends, family, fellow Scouts, and leaders to celebrate together. Troop 40 is proud to support our Scouts throughout this process, from mentoring them during their rank advancement to helping coordinate the ceremony itself.
For many Scouts, the Eagle Ceremony is not just a celebration of earning a rank—it’s also an opportunity to give back to the community, highlight the Eagle Project they completed, and inspire younger Scouts in the troop. In Troop 40, these ceremonies are a cherished tradition, reflecting the values of leadership, service, and perseverance that we strive to instill in all our Scouts.
