Embracing A New Journey: Business Manager for St. Rose of Lima

Dear Parishioners,

I am thrilled to embark on a new chapter of my life as the Business Manager for St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. For the first time in my professional career, I can combine my “day job” with my faith journey. With a rich background in business development and sales leadership, having served as VP of Business Development and VP of Sales in the IT sector, I bring a wealth of experience to this role.

My journey takes a unique turn with a commitment that extends beyond the boardroom—I have been an ordained Deacon in the Catholic Church for nine years. This dual role allows me to fuse my professional expertise with a deep spiritual connection, ensuring a holistic approach to stewardship.

As a 14 yr member of the Board for the Texas Center for the Missing (Amber alert for missing children and Silver alert for missing elderly) and a former House Chaplain and Board Member for Magnificat Houses, Inc. (a Catholic non-profit for the homeless) in Houston, I've witnessed the transformative power of community service. My early-incareer service as a former Commissioned Officer in the United States Marine Corps further instilled in me the values of discipline, dedication, and service to a greater cause.

Currently, I serve as a Deacon at both St. Helen Catholic Church in Pearland and St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Houston, maintaining a hands-on involvement in fostering spiritual growth within diverse congregations.

Additionally, my affiliation with the Knights of Columbus and Knights of Peter Claver reflects a dedication to fraternal values and community outreach.

Family is at the core of my life, and I am blessed with a loving wife, Margaret, and six wonderful children— Brittany, Brandon, Bradley, Brent, Brycen, and Brionne. My daughter, Brionne, is in the 7th grade and currently attends St. Thomas More Catholic School. This foundation of loving support fuels my passion for creating a positive and collaborative environment within St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church.

My vision for this role centers on fostering a sense of unity and engagement among parishioners. I am genuinely eager to connect with each member of this vibrant community, leveraging my skills to enhance the church's organizational efficiency and support its mission and our Pastor, Fr. Linh’s vision. Together, let us embark on a journey of growth, faith, and service, ensuring that St. Rose of Lima continues to flourish as a beacon of love and compassion in the Heights and the Greater Houston Area.

Sincerely,

Deacon Darryl Drenon
