Bible Study

St. Rose of Lima currently offers a few different options for studying the Word of our Lord. If you don’t find one below that meets your needs, consider starting a new bible study by contacting our office at 713-692-9123.

Living in the Spirit Bible Study

This is a multi-faceted Bible Study program coving such topics as specific books of the Old and New Testament, Church history, The Mass and people or activities related to spiritual formation. All levels of knowledge welcome! Living in the Spirit generally meets from September through May on Tuesdays at 7:00pm in Room C of the Administration Building. Tuesday Scripture Sharing
The Tuesday Scripture Sharing groups focus on the readings for the upcoming Sunday as a preparation for receiving the Word when it is proclaimed at Mass. The morning group meets from 10:30-11:30 am and the evening group meets from 5:30-6:30 pm. The morning group normally does not meet during the summer months.
