Annual Giving Tree
ST. ROSE ANNUAL GIVING TREE
Supporting St. Vincent de Paul and the Gabriel Project
Join our mission to assist those in need by participating in the
ST. ROSE GIVING TREE.
Please consider picking up a gift tag (or two!) to purchase a gift for an infant or child. Gift tags are available near the church entrance between Nov. 21st and Dec. 14th. Each gift tag will identify whether you are to purchase a specific gift for an infant, or a gift for a child identified by age and gender. St. Rose ministries will work behind the scenes to ensure gifts are forwarded to the appropriate area that supports SVDP, or new moms seeking assistance from the Gabriel Project. Please bring your gift to St. Rose no later than Dec. 14th.
SVDP: Gift tags marked by age and gender of a child should be wrapped and placed near the GIVING TREE. Be sure to secure the tag to the gift so it can be delivered to SVDP, and given to a child matching the age and gender on the tag.
GABRIEL PROJECT: The tags marked for the Gabriel Project will indicate a specific infant item that is currently needed for the St. Rose Gabriel Project. These gifts should be brought to St. Rose unwrapped and placed in the Pack ‘n Play near the church stairwell. These items are needed to ensure the new moms seeking our support have the items necessary to care for their newborns. Many thanks to our St. Rose ministries for coordinating this loving gift to our families who will benefit. We are grateful for your enthusiasm in supporting this important ministry.
The generosity and love demonstrated each year by the St. Rose community is a blessing, especially to our brothers and sisters whom we are called to serve. Thank you for your support of both SVDP and the Gabriel Project!

Dear Friends in Christ,
Over the past four years, it has been my joy to serve you at Saint Rose of Lima Parish.
Archbishop Vásquez has appointed me to serve in pastoral ministry at Saint Justin, the Martyr Parish, and my assignment will begin on July 1st.
Serving this parish has brought me great joy, and I believe that our parish is in a great place for the next administrator to continue to build upon all that we have accomplished together as a community of faith.
Archbishop Vásquez has appointed Fr. Jacob Ramirez to serve as the next administrator of Saint Rose of Lima Parish. Fr. Jacob is a priest of the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston, and he currently serves as Parochial Vicar at Holy Family Parish in Galveston. Fr. Jacob will begin as administrator on July 1st.
Please keep Fr. Jacob and I in your prayers, and please know of my prayers and gratitude for each of you.
In Christ’s Love,
Pastor Linh

Queridos Feligreses,
Padre Linh
