A message from Bishop Joe Vasquez
Brothers and Sisters,
For this year’s Diocesan Services Fund, I chose Pope Leo’s motto, In Illo Uno Unum — “In the One, We are One.” Through the One who is Christ, we are united as members of Christ’s Mystical Body. We experience this unity most profoundly in the Eucharist, where the Body and Blood of Christ become truly present to us on every altar in every church of our archdiocese.
It is from this unity that the mission of the DSF flows. No single parish could meet all the needs of our local Church, yet together we sustain 64 ministries that form disciples, care for families, and bring hope to those in need.
In addition to supporting the ministries of the Archdiocese, DSF has a tangible benefit on your own parish community. This year:
• 75% of every dollar by which your parish exceeds its allotted DSF goal will be returned directly to your parish community;
• 50% of every gift made by a first-time giver to DSF will be returned directly to your parish community;
• In the event a parish does not meet its goal, it is eligible for a 75% discount on the amount due provided that it increases both the funds raised and the number of donors compared to the last campaign.

Para el Fondo de Servicios Diocesanos de este año, elegí el lema del Papa León, In Illo Uno Uno — "En el Uno, Somos Uno." A través del Uno que es Cristo, estamos unidos como miembros del Cuerpo Místico de Cristo. Experimentamos esta unidad de manera más profunda en la Eucaristía, donde el Cuerpo y la Sangre de Cristo se hacen verdaderamente presentes para nosotros en cada altar de cada iglesia de nuestra arquidiócesis.
De esta unidad de donde surge la misión del DSF. Ninguna parroquia podría satisfacer por sí sola todas las necesidades de nuestra Iglesia local; pero juntos sustentamos 64 ministerios que forman discípulos, cuidan de las familias y brindan esperanza a quienes lo necesitan.
Además de apoyar los ministerios de la Arquidiócesis, DSF tiene un beneficio tangible en su propia comunidad parroquial. Este año:
