Our adult volunteers are essential to our ministry! We are always looking for people willing to share their gifts, faith, and time with our Young Church.

Cooking team for Middle School & High School Sessions
Session Admin - Front Desk help during the sessions
Hospitality before faith formation sessions start

Middle & High School High Retreat Team
Chaperone other Middle & High School Events (Bible Study, Athletic, Service Projects, Social)
Anyone 18 years and older needs to complete CMG training session about sexual abuse awareness and complete Criminal Background Check. Complete Step 1 & 2!

step 2- Once you complete step 1, complete the ‘Safe Environment Training for Adults’. This will take you to another page. Create an account, follow their instructions, and complete your training and background check.

CMG Safe Haven FAQs
What is CMG Safe Haven?
The CMG Safe Haven online training is replacing the VIRTUS training. The training consists of 3 vignette style training videos that is approximately 60 minutes and will include a criminal background check that must be completed.
What language is it available in? Are they held in person or online?
These training's are available in English and Spanish. We will no longer offer live training's, all Safe Environment training's will only be available online.
Who needs to take CMG?
All employees, participants, and volunteers will complete the Safe Haven online training program.
All individuals must complete the training and complete a background check prior to the start of employment and/or volunteer service.
It is renewed every five (5) years.
How do we submit our background check?
It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
How long does the background check take to process?
It varies. It can be as soon as a week to two. You are always able to check the status via your account!
