All articles should be submitted to bulletin@stroselima.org for review before they will be considered for publication. The deadline to submit articles for the bulletin is Thursday morning, 10 days before the Sunday that you wish the article to appear. Half and full page requests are due 15 days in advance. The schedule changes for holidays, when the bulletin must meet early publisher deadlines. Submissions may be edited. Late entries may or may not be accepted at the discretion of the Bulletin Editor, and only if space permits.
Bulletin submissions must be created in Microsoft Word, PDF or Canva files. If created in Canva, Bulletin Editor must be emailed the original file. The Bulletin Editor reserves the right to edit all aspects of any articles submitted, including grammar, color used, fonts, style, number of pictures use, size of space given, etc. If your article mentions to "call the parish office for more information" or you expect reservations to be taken by the office staff make sure you get them the appropriate information before the article goes to print.
To use pictures in the bulletin, you must have parental permission. It is suggested to have permission of adults prior to using their pictures in the bulletin. Otherwise photos will not be accepted.
For event submissions, one month notice is required. All event information: time, date, location, and price should be included on the flyer. Event submissions must have a flyer, plain text will not be accepted.
Flyer submissions must be .38 margins all around. Either half page (landscape) or full page (portrait) are the preferred formats. Quarter page submissions are accepted but must be 4x4.
